By downloading, accessing, or using MatterCheck (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). These Terms form a legal agreement between you and Ekuty LLC ("Ekuty", "we", "our", or "us"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

MatterCheck is a mobile application that helps users scan and understand product labels, view material signals, save scan history, and discover alternative products. The information provided by MatterCheck is for general educational and informational purposes only. MatterCheck is not a medical device, health diagnostic tool, or safety certification service. Results should not be treated as professional health, safety, or regulatory advice.

MatterCheck uses AI-powered label scanning to provide material signal information. While we work to ensure accuracy, we cannot guarantee that every result is complete or current. All scan results display a confidence score to indicate reliability. You should use your own judgment and consult appropriate professionals when making health or safety decisions. Ekuty LLC is not liable for decisions made based on information provided by MatterCheck.

To access certain features, you may create an account with your email address. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

You agree not to: • Use MatterCheck for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws. • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App. • Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the App. • Interfere with or disrupt the servers or networks connected to the App. • Transmit any harmful, offensive, or disruptive content through the App. • Misrepresent MatterCheck's results as certified safety assessments.

All content, features, and functionality of MatterCheck — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software — are owned by Ekuty LLC and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.

MatterCheck is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ekuty LLC and its officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of MatterCheck. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Ekuty LLC is incorporated, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via the App or email. Your continued use of MatterCheck after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
